This article identifies the essential technologies and considerations for development of an Automated Cow Monitoring System (ACMS) which uses 3D camera technology assessment Body Condition Score (BCS). We present a comparison range common techniques at different developmental stages Computer Vision including data pre-processing implementation Deep Learning both 2D formats commonly captured by cameras. research focuses on attaining better reliability from one deployment ACMS to next proposes Geometric (GDL) approach evaluating model performance robustness farm another in presence background, farm, herd, pose cow variabilities.
